Mentors Positions in the New Honors Hall
The New Honors Hall Wants YOU!
Do you like helping others? Are you looking for an important leadership position? It’s not too late to be an Honors Hall Residence Hall Mentor! The Honors Hall still has a few spots left in the brand new residence hall for the 2009-2010 academic year.
Honors Hall Mentors will be responsible for the following:
Tutor students and lead study groups
Serve as a mentor and positive role model to first year students in the Honors Residence Hall under the shared supervision of Dr. Keith Garbutt and Pr. Marie Leichliter.
Enroll in a residence hall tutoring class (2 credit hours), under the supervision of Dr. Keith Garbutt each semester. Honors students can take up to 9 hours from a single source.
Attend certain social and academic programs sponsored by the Honors College and the Resident Faculty Leaders of the Honors Residence Hall, for the purpose of meeting students and encouraging them to participate in the peer tutoring & mentoring program.
Want to be an Honors Hall mentor but you have already signed up to live in another WVU residence hall? No problem! If selected as a Mentor you will be reassigned to the new hall!
