call for poetry, prose, and art submissions

Calliope, WVU’s undergraduate literary journal, is now accepting submissions of poetry, prose (fiction or non-fiction) and art work. Students can submit two pieces of prose or five poems. There is no limit on art work. Prose submissions should be limited to 5,000 words or less

Submissions should be sent as doc files for poetry and prose and as a print quality resolution jpeg file for art work. All submissions should include a student’s name and email address.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, Nov. 19. Submissions can be sent to calliope@wvu.edu.

The next meeting for Calliope will be Thursday, Oct. 23rd at 4:30 by the Mountainlair couches. Anyone interested in joining the staff should attend the next meeting or email the editors at calliope@wvu.edu.
