If so, we in the Honors Office have a proposal for you . . .

Our Mountaineer Visitation Days, in which high school students visit the WVU campus for a taste of what we’ve got to offer, will be happening on Friday, September 28 and Monday, October 1. Willing volunteers will be needed for the following:

~8:00 – 10:30 AM — 5 students to help our staff with check-in at the MountainLair
~8:15 – 10:30 AM — 5 students to show our visitors their beautiful rooms in Stalnaker Hall
~9:30 – 10:30 AM — 5 more students to show rooms
~2:30 – 3:30 PM — a final 5 students to show rooms

We know that Honors students are generally known as helpful folks; this opportunity will allow you to serve both the Honors College and the University in a great way. (Plus, we can count any hours you tally toward service work for scholarships and major requirements.) Please contact the Office at 293.2100 or via email at uhp@mail.wvu.edu if you can help us out.
