Greetings from another day in the mile high city!

Your Honors Dream Team has been enjoying the sights and sounds of Denver. Rarely does one find one?s self sitting next to the Dean of the College at a round bar table enjoying nachos and David Bowie in a Mexican pub ? but this was only part of our Friday night at the National Collegiate Honors Council meeting.

Friday culminated day two of data collecting and note taking in this exchange of ideas. Already, we have exciting prospects and projects to try out once we return to Touchdown City. Thursday night ended with an exciting social event ? the annual NCHC student party. As you can imagine, Honors students represent a great diversity of interests and backgrounds. To share with you just a taste of this, take a line from last night’s poetry jam and slam: ?Yesterday morning I woke up without a face . . . it was the poo of my discontent.?

So as you can see, the discussion has been lively and eye-opening. We hope to have more to share with you tomorrow as we wrap up our time away from our alma mater.
