Dr. Nolan’s Criminal Justice class is holding a presentation and open‑ forum on Monday, October 22 at 6:30 pm in Room B of Hatfields. The project they are working on involves implementing a new alternative sentence in the style of restorative justice for the Monongalia/Marion county area for first‑time offenders. The class also is working on implementing a reintegration strategy for offenders who are being released from prison. They will talk about their work at Pruntytown Correctional Center and facilitate a discussion on Restorative Justice and reintegration of offenders. Anybody who is interested in the subject or in getting involved are strongly encouraged to come.
